Usage: For potable water & waste water transmission and distribution, For Fuel gas transmisstion

Take K9 ( the most common steel grade ) for example

The Nominal W.T. & the min W.T. can be get from below formula:
e = k (0.5+0.001DN)
emin = e -(1.3+0.001DN)
e : Nominal W.T. mm
emin : Min W.T. mm
DN : Nominal O.D. mm
K : W.T. grade coefficient, also by the integer , such as …7、8、9、10、11、12….

The working pressure can also be calculated, when we confirmed the grade of the K series.
PFA = (2 * emin * Rm)/(D * SF)
PFA : the working pressure of the piping
emin : Min W.T. mm
K : W.T. grade coefficient, also by the integer , such as …7、8、9、10、11、12….
D : the avarge O.D. (DE-emin) mm
Rm : the min Tensile strength (420 Mpa)
SF: Safety factor ( 3 )

By the treament of Spheroidizing & Annealing, the Mechanical Properties have been greatly increased now.
